Perth born and bred, I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Western Australia in 2011.
I have worked at dental practices all over Perth and even in rural WA, but I am proud to say that I have found my home at Ocean Reef Dental Surgery. What I love about it is it's family orientated and that our patients value good, honest and practical dental care. I’m particularly interested in preventive care and restorative dentistry. I believe that it is never too late to start looking after your dental health and that there should be no shame in it – I’ll help you with a friendly approach. There’s a solution to every problem!
Outside of work I love to travel, see the world and be outdoors, although I'm so proud that Perth is where I come home to. My favourite past times are hiking, cooking (and eating!), gardening and walking the dogs. Since COVID there hasn't been a lot of travelling on the cards, so my husband and I have jumped on the bandwagon and gotten into camping and 4WDing! In the winter we love to retreat to the country on the weekends, away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy a glass of wine and let the dogs run free.
I look forward to seeing you around the surgery.
After finishing my Bachelor in Dental Sciences at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University in Egypt in 2001, I went on to earn my Master’s Degree of Prosthodontics.
In addition to my qualifications, I received extensive training in dental implants during a three-year residency program at Cairo University. I have ten year’s experience working in dentistry training, firstly as a clinical instructor and then an assistant lecturer, mentoring and educating undergraduates and postgraduates. Alongside this I also ran my own private practice, delivering both general and implant dentistry.
I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of general dentistry, implants, advanced surgical and prosthetic parts. I draw on my combined expertise to help my patients achieve better oral health.
My family and I have lived in Western Australia for over 10 years, I am a loving husband and caring father to two children. During my out of office hours, I spend quality time with my family and friends.
