First Visit Experience

Patients that arrive early are welcome to relax in our comfortable reception, with a variety of reading material and enjoy our calming aquarium.

New patients will be asked to fill in a questionnaire on their medical history, listing current and past dental and medical treatments, this will help us to account for any specific needs or requirements you may have.

We will always aim to run appointments on time to reduce waiting times for our patients. If you find yourself running late for an appointment please call reception to let them know.

A member of our friendly team will greet you on your arrival, and show you into one of our spacious and contemporary surgeries where you will be introduced to one of our professional and gentle dentists.

Your first appointment will be scheduled with extra time so our dentist can carry out an extensive and comprehensive oral examination for you. This includes an assessment of both hard and soft tissues.

Your appointment will most likely include:

• A comprehensive oral examination
• Professional clean with polish
• Diagnostic x-rays (if they are required)
• Digital imaging
• Intra-oral photographs

During your first consultation, you will be able to discuss any concerns, pains or oral habits that you may have. We will guide you every step of the way to help ensure you are maintaining optimal oral hygiene habits. You will then be presented with an overview of your oral health and if required, you will be presented with an ongoing treatment plan that will consider your oral and financial needs.
